I just got a wild captured Tegu from Homestead Fla. She is beautiful, at to me. On the trip home and for the first week, she was really rubbing her nose a lot. It is now very reg and looks kind of bad to me. See pic. Is there anything I can do to try to help heal her snout? Thanks, Keith

Thanks for the advice. From taking a closer look at the first pic when I got her, it looks like she already had something going on, her nose was a dark brown/black, not like the others I brought back. She was kept in a clear/opaque plastcn bin. nothing rough or sharp.

Sounds to me like she had a scab from earlier escape attempts from trap. Scab broke in your care. Clean and fresh air.

Beautiful argie, by the way. Mine are all from Rodney as well.
