My tegu has recently escaped her cage twice and because of that she never comes out to see me like she would always would but now its the complete opposite and when she is out and i start talking to her she runs and hides should i be concerned with this strange behavior?

How are you hanging the lights like that i have seen it a couple of times I am curious about that I am starting to make blueprints for the cage I am building.
My gu has been in and out of brumation for all of this month she will seem like she has woken up and about a day later she go back under the dirt is this normal ?? Or is she just trying To wake up?
What i ment to say is the equivalent to that i think im doing a L shaped with two level (i a m making it so she cant jump off the higher level) the dimensions im thinking of is 12-14 ft long by 3-2 1/2 ft. does this help?
she could be putting the house with the medicine that she does not like so she has a negitive attachment with that hide and you so i would say leave her alone when she is in that hide and offer food infront of the door or she is going through tegu puberty thats an other option just give her time
