I would give a arm for a Killer clown ball python lol, or just a Regular clown ball python. Clown ball pythons are beautiful! But eventually i will get one. Right now i just have two 66% het clown ball pythons!

Looking forward to some pics though!

I have a male pastel, female super pastel, female pinstripe... and just yesterday put a deposit on a female butter...

Personally, I do not like wild type (normal) Python markings (Ball/Royal or other species)... but the smaller size of the Ball/Royals make them very desirable... therefore I'm most attracted to the pattern morphs (spider, pinstripe, clown, genetic stripe, etc)...

Black Pewter is my girls favorite morph...

Killer Clowns (super pastel clown) are amazing looking snakes... I'm not sure how many thousand dollars they sell for, but I know it's well out of my price range :p

Congratulations, share some pictures when you're able. I'm a pretty big ball python fan myself, their size being one of my favorite factors as well. I've got 4 I've been raising up since they were hatchlings, 1.1 fire and 1.1 spider/pastel pairs.. If you do decide to get a spider make sure you see it in person. The "wobble" is a pretty common trait with them. Mine doesn't show any signs at all but it can range from extreme retardation to only small quirks set off by certain stimuli.

I got a male spider, female pastel, female mojave and a normal. Waiting on the perfect bee! The spider has a pretty good wobble when he wants to. But is usually pretty good. Sometimes it affects his eating which makes me feel horrible :( so he eats just f/t. Beautiful snakes, but the wobble is a horrible problem..

From what i read all spider Bp's have the head wobble, some worse then others, but all of them have it, even if you do not see it (Which you should if you observe your Spider bp).

New pet threads don't count with out pics  plus I love Bp's, my favorite snake next to Bloods. Last year I had a Bumble Bee, Caramel, Pastel DH Albino Pied and a Het Pied. So show whatcha got.

The wobble is a neurological issue in snakes that can and is passed on through breeding. It's when the snake can't hold it's head still or sometimes straight (tilted to one side) depending on the severity some even cork screw.

A normal snake when it raises it's head slightly or in a full periscope can hold it's head practically (depending on how high they go) perfectly still. When they have a wobble it shakes,.. how much depends on the severity of the issue. Some you may not notice unless you're actually looking for it.

Just like kinking in reptiles,..from a genetic stand point, you see it more so in some than others. Which certain Bp's also have an issue with.

Just google "ball python wobble" and go to videos, there's quite a few.
This is the first one that popped up, it's a Spinner that wobbles and cork screws.

Nope i totally agree with housing in the tubs, it makes keeping in humidity a breeze and being the tub is so low(does not have much height) it's kind of like a constant burrow and they feel more safe in there. Ball pythons are not to big on climbing let alone moving so the height is not needed.

But the way he keeps his tubs with the poop is a bit nasty =p, i spot clean both of my snake enclosures.
