Hi all! I've been thoroughly researching and preparing and am now 100% I want myself an Argentine B & W... Through all my research I haven't been able to find any for sale that aren't from a website, Id prefer to be able to pick one out in person. Was hoping the room could help... I'm in the southern Massachusetts area... But also would like suggestions of online breeders that people have been happy with. Thanks

There's the reptile expo in White Plains, New York in early July that will definitely have some tegus, might be a 3 hour drive for you, from southern CT it's about 2 hours or so.
If you want to buy online I'd recommend http://undergroundreptiles.com/product-category/animals/tegus/ Their eggs just hatched this past week and they will be shipping soon. I think their Chacoan white head tegus are $150, and their Argentine Black and Whites are $180, basically the same tegu, some minor differences if any.
Then there is https://www.facebook.com/pages/Tys-Lizards/188828187820956 Great breeder, believe he will have Black and Whites, as well as Reds in late July. Think he prices are around the same as underground reptiles.
Then http://www.teguterra.com/ usually sells yearling tegus for $250-$350, not sure what he is selling this year.

I've been to the white plains expo probably 3 or 4 times and have always seen tegus there, especially in July there should be some babies. A few breeders babies have been hatching in the past week or two. Not sure of any of the breeders names.
