What is this skin spot?

Recently acquired a <4 month old argentine b&w tegu, and he has this strange skin variation under his armpit. Is this a genetic trait or is this something I should worry about? I’ve had this tegu for 2 days so I don’t have too much info on it, except that it seems healthy and happy and tame.

Hard to see in the picture, but the skin near his armpit is colorless, It’s not red and his belly isn’t red. It’s sort of reminiscent of the color of a baby albino tegu, but in that one spot only.

Thanks for the replies. I’m still clueless on this one. I’d say birth defect is possible, the discoloration seems to follow the white pattern inside the black. Endless searches and pictures and opinions, nobody seems to know what it is. I guess I’d have to ask a vet if I want an answer.
