What is this? Please help. (injury?)

Just got this tegu as a rescue and noticed this thing on the scales on her head. I’m guessing Its either a burn scar, rubbed it raw against something somehow, or scale rot. Can someone please help? She seems healthy otherwise.

I'd say something similar to you.......... Looks like its healing nicely though.

If they've been rubbing, it def grows back healthy, but doesn't quite look the same. Might stay darker than it was before. It should continue to improve if that's what it is.
