how would you guys heat a viv of that size??? im currently heating my 6x3x3 viv with ceramics above the wire mesh top. but the new viv will be all wooden. and i dont really want to have ceramics inside the viv incase the tegu burns itself!!

That would be fine. We take ours out once a week for some free roaming around the house or outside if the weather is warm.

Here are mine. http://www.tegutalk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=345 I later added Lexan on the inside of the doors to keep in the humidity.

I use a 75W or 90W Halogen bulb and a 4ft ReptiSun 10 in each enclosure. They sit on 1/2" galvanized hardware cloth. Basking is in the low 100's.
