Tails growing back

I have a black and white tegu his name is Randal and I got him during hibernation and his tail was bit when he was a baby and I got him at 7 months now he is 9 months old out and about. How long will it take for his tail to be fully grown from my females length I can tell hes only missing about 3-5 inches and that's even if they grow back

Welcome.Your tegu is young, and the break is less than midway. Although regrowth will not be identical to original, it willcome close on length quickly.
