Substrate Ideas

Hey guys I was wondering if it would be good to use sphagnum moss to cover the bottom like an inch or so then layer about 3 to 4 inches of cypress mulch on top of it. My columbian likes to burrow in his substrate when he goes to bed I was just wondering if its okay to do that?? thanks everyone.

thats fine, that is what i use in my hide. good humidity holder check my hide out ,this is for the babies, easy to manage, when you pull it out to spary it down or clean all the contents stay inside
