Wow...nice enclosure! I really like how it just looks like another part of your house! It doesn't seem out of place at all!
Did you build it yourself?

It's kind of sad to say, but you're the only person I know with a full grown Columbian in a really nice setup. Most people end up getting rid of theirs. I don't know why. They're awesome animals.

I have to agree with everyone else. Your Columbian is one of the nicest, healthiest looking that I've seen in quite a while. You should be proud!!

Yea, I have seen a few adult colombians around in like 55 gal tanks, it's really rather sad. I have a decent sized cage for mine, but would someday like to get a male to go with her in an 8 x 4.
I almost got Krusty's (from RZ) male colombian but I just cant fit it in space wise right now. Someday though, I'll take a stab at breeding them.
I gotta admit, I prefer colombians to argentines.

Let's play 20 questions.
How docile is Goo? How difficult is it to get your Columbians to docile down (I don't mean slow down, as I knoww they are quite active, but I mean in the way if being "friendly")? Also, are they as intuitive as Argentines...like they will follow you around and do other little funny things, or do they mostly keep to themselves? Do they get as attached to their owners as the Argies?

Goo will not bite and generally wont tail whip at me. She however will not tolerate being restrained and basically Tegu/human interaction happens when she's ready for it. If i approach her she lets me know (by huffing and puffing) that im pushing the limits of what she wants to put up with.
As far as attaching to owners, I dont personally beleive any reptile has the ability to become attached (in the human sense) to anyone. However they can learn to associate people with different things.

anywho here's some old video links of Goo being Goo.

Totally love Columbians and plan on getting one in the future. My favorite part of Goo is all of the awesome vids of his charge jumps. They kill me. I love it, it's awesome to see their natural behavior.
