Bobby, I was wondering If i should seperate my tegus now. I have not seen any more Breeding behaviour in my male (Bentley) and I have seen the female (Lexi) starting to dig the past 2 days. So, Im wondering if should seperate them or continue to leave them be for more matings to come but I dunno. Its been like 5 days now and I have been watching them both and I see a little bit but nothing big. They look tired lol but I guess I will wait to hear back from you thanks once again.

I would add the hay now, and see if she trys to make a nest. If she starts making a nest, then remove the male.

Bobby, today I seperated them and put Lexi (female) in her own enclosure and through a bunch of hay in her cage and underneath a piece of plywood. I'm sure she will start to bring the hay underneath the piece of plywood. I kind of helped her but there is still a lot of hay in her cage.
