Shedding

Hi! It has been a few months since my tegu has shed but he still has a lot of stuck shed on his tail. I have been keeping the enclosure humidity high, doing 2-3 times weekly soaks and it won't come off. Any ideas on how to help him? He is still acting normal otherwise.

Also he is still a baby and hasn't grown or shed for a few months. Should I be concerned?

A&D baby ointment, massage it on, let him bask, next day it will all fall of in a warm bath, have been doing this for 9 years!
