Sexing my Tegu

I just remembered that my girlfriend asked Johnny (Teguterra) to get me a male chacoan for me for Christmas . However, she just recently told me that he wasn't 100% sure if my tegu was a male or not, but he was pretty sure. He's about 6 months old now so I'm pretty sure I would be able to feel for BB's, spurs, etc. When I checked, I did feel something (I think), but it was rather small. How big are the BB's at this age? How do they feel like?

They should be pretty small around one year is about when you would definetly be able to feel them but you may be feeling them it all depends on the tegu

They feel just like little bb's...There is 1 on each side of the vent....

Yes! I felt them on each side! I am quite certain . I am going to a local expo on Sunday just to verify that he is indeed a male. Excited!!

I'm not really sure if I'm feeling them. Are they hard or...? He was probed as male but just double checking
