Potty training?

I know this may be an incredibly stupid question, but is there any way to "potty train" an Argentine tegu, such as getting it to do its business in a litterbox or something?

yes tegus are very smart reptiles, one of the smartest many people say.

you can even get them to respond to their name.

i do think it can be done, i havnt been able to get nero to use a litter box but she will only go outside, i have tried to get her to go in the tub but she will hold out until she is outside lol!

Then how can I do it? I kind of thought about giving it "treats" such as small slices of hot dog or hard-boiled eggs every time it sh*ts outside or in a certain part of the tank-would that work?
