so no one hibernated this year. I had one slow down but still up every day, one eat me out of house and home and the male is just his usual problem self. He had an inner ear infection but is back to walking almost straight and is showing more and more improvement from his MBD is almost eating on his own. You can tell from the lump on his back where it broke almost 1 year ago. He is very active and loves to eat but the vet has him on a strict diet so his bone strength can catch up with his body mass.

The 4-7th pictures show pretty well the bump in Dedricks back.. this is where it broke last year in 3 places. it is actually flattening out quite a bit and last radiographs showed his vertebrae growing nicely! fingers crossed (for his sake)

Aww such a cute family. I love the picture of all three by the water bowl, waiting to be fed.

The two larger females are together. The little male worries me because of his mbd, so he has his own cage I'm too afraid the big ones will hurt him. But roaming together they really don't separate, which is weird for tegus.

Oh they do have personalities! Having more than 1 helped me prove it to a few people lol. More than one tegu is like feeding a highschool football team.. Plus each one of them is a rescue in their own way. As much as I would love an AA or extrememe from Bobby there are too many that need help already. My mother won't step foot near my apartment! Once you move out it gets better! Lol
