My new tegu

Hello All,

So I bought a Tegu on Monday and brought her home, setup everything and put her in the habitat. Since Monday I haven't seen her as she has stayed burrowed down. I've read that this is normal, but I can't help constantly wondering if she is still alive, or if I should check on her by uncovering the shavings. I've kept fresh ground turkey in the feeding dish with the calcium supp mixed in at all time. She has yet to touch it. Just curious if I should check on her or not? Also any other advice anyone has for me I welcome it with open arms.

it takes them alil time to get used to the new enclosure just give her or him sometime he will come out.
