I saw this forum so I decided to post a thread. These are my American Bulldogs. The Black one is the kids dog. She is 1/2 American and 1/2 Black Lab. I will be having the big female bred over the net couple of days. I can't wait to see the puppies. I'll post some pics of the male . When I get some. I plan on taking pictures of the breeding . Puppy Porn LOL The young male in the bunch is the male I plan to breed with as soon as he is old enough. He is 4 and a half months old. He is going to be a whopper. The big female weighs 89 lbs. These dogs have the best personality. Just as gentle as can be with people. But they will catch a cow, hog anything like that. They do the job well too. We have a few wild hogs around. That is what we catch. Most of the time she is protecting our yard from the Coyotes. Man we got them bad here. They are the main reason I keep a bulldog around.

I have a buddy that has the English. He has been crossing the Americans and the English and getting some pretty cool looking dogs. I like big dogs though. I like my males to be 100lbs or more. I like my females to weight no less than 80 lbs. . The male pup in the picture his dad was 130lbs. His grand father was 142lbs. His mother is a solid 90 lbs. He has the red nose which most don't like but I like the red nose myself. Not many Americans with a red nose out there.

By the way those are very good looking dogs. I love the white one.

I've always like the English Bulldogs but they can have so many different health problems! Booker is mostly Olde English Bulldog...all of the good qualities of the English but a lot fewer health issues. They all have that smoosh-inviting face! You just wanna grab their fat cheeks, smoosh them around and kiss 'em up! :) Dinah is English and Shar Pei so she is EXTRA smooshable! LOL

Both my bulldogs were imported from Russia and since they have different standards there for breeding you seem to get a dog with less issues.
So far I have been lucky and have no serious issues except of course for the loud breathing and they do have an extraordinary
amount of gas.

You are lucky and so are your bullies. They are so darned cute. As far as the loud breathing and gas go, I'm sure Dinah could give them a bit of competition! LOL She also is the loudest snorer I've ever heard and she snorts like a pig all the time. I affectionately call her my pigdog.

Jif, Nice looking dogs, is there any animal you don't have an army of? You looking to rehome or are they at thier forever home?

Actually, I didn't post a photo of Dozer, my foster dog, who is a big old Rottie. Also, Booker is a foster dog and looking for a permanent home. These dogs and many other nice adoptable dogs can be seen here.

Just wanted to give an update on the Americans. I have a litter of pups on the way. So anyone interested can contact me . I bred my female to a super Bully male so it should make some nice pups. Most should be white with some patches of coloring. They will average 80 to 100 lbs grown. My female weighs 87lbs with out being bred. The father of these pups Just one 1st place at the Okalla Fl. NKC show. His name is Tex. My dogs are Canebottom Kennel bred. That is where they came from.
