MVB MegaRay?

The enclosure I'm building will put my tegu and the ground about 15 inches from him the bulb. Which Mega-Ray would you guys reccomend for this situation? I really don't think my repti-sun is enough for my little guy!

Email them, they will tell you exactly what you need I would say you only need the 100W but its up to you really. The only one I would stay away from would be the Zoo Megaray, they need to be AT LEAST 3' away from the animal.

I'd actually recommend going with an EB and external heat source (halogen bulb) as then you can be sure you won't have any heating issue and the EB decays slower and has a longer warranty.

Yeah, I checked the site after I posted that. Now I feel a little stupid

Very interesting. I like the EB, how much would one of these suckers run?

Just follow the link I posted, it is the manufacturers website. They have all the prices and contact info to order one. One of the bonus's with the EB is that you only pay the high price once because it comes with the ballast (light fixture) then you just buy replacement bulbs when needed.
