i was wondering if tegu's could ever develop mouthrot like snakes can?
i just saw something in my tegu's mouth what looked like the puss in infected snake mouths but when i touched it with a pincet it felt hard , i pulled it out and i guess it was a tooth that came loose.it was round though but when out it didn't look or felt like puss that i've seen in snakes before.
could this just have been a loose theeth or possibly mouthrot?
anyway i desinfected the area after removal of that (theeth???)
