No worries at all! some do some prefer not to its preference and past experience.Looks female so far. Those scales are hard to detect, but I've owned both male and female, and IMO, she looks like a she. Sweet!!
Also - I would never probe my Tegu. (Sorry Titsuda) There is a risk of damaging the animal, and it doesn't take more than about 6 months before you know anyway. The jowls are either there (male), or they're not (female).
