I heard they tend to be shy and are more for looking at than touching and handling. Theyre super cute though! Sorry i dont know anythig else.

I've got a pair of Tribs myself! I really like them to tell you the truth. As for the set up, well, mine is pretty much run of the mill for most of my animals that need high humidity levels. I have the pair housed in a 20 Gallon Long, and I've got about 3" of cypress bed as the substrate. You could get away with Eco-Earth of some other type of coconut fiber if you wanted to but whenever I used it, mine would mold quite fast.

I have several small (about 4" - 5") pieces of cork bark stacked on top of each other to provide multiple hides, and then I have two separate Exoterra hides (medium I believe) in the tank as well. I then supply then with a large, shallow dish that is deep enough for them both to soak in when they feel the urge.

For food items, I use mainly crickets but sometimes they'll take down smaller night crawlers and feed these guys 3 - 4 times per week. Once a week they get a batch of bugs that's dusted with Rep-Cal w/D3 x Herptivite, and then the other two times I dust the bugs with Zoo-Meds ReptiCal wo/D3.

I don't use any type of heating elements at all most of the time, but if I feel they're getting too cold I'll go ahead and put on a 40 Watt infrared Zoo-Med heat lamp and just run that during the colder times.

Temps I typically keep are right around 72 - 75, and the humidity usually stays up above 65-70%.

Hope this helps! Enjoy these little guys. They're pretty cool! And mine are spazzes if that helps at all! Not too keen on being handled! :)

I want some! They really are neat little lizards! No more critters though. Got our hands full already. Lol!

You gotta, gotta keep the humidity up and a little pool for soaking/drinking. Did I mention the humidity? ;)
