lighting

so im currently learning about reptiles, ive read and searched alot but what i cant seem to find is to you turn your lizards lights off at night?

The easiest thing to use for Reptiles or Aquariums alike is a basic mechanical timer. You can get them at any hardware store (home depot, Lowes) they cost about 10 bucks I think. People use them commonly for Christmas lights as well.

I use this one on quite a few enclosures and aquariums in my house.
