after a while of researching different lizard i think i have decided to get a crested gecko i just need 2 things answered.


where can i get one? i live in Maryland. any breeders that will ship or any reptile shows i could get one at near here?

GLass. GLass. GLass. LOL. I hate screen terrariums and they help you none. That should be good for a crestie. I like those enclosure actually a lot, but they are pricy.

Was considerring building a crestie enclosure, but I don't have the money for the resin yet. I've got plenty of cat hair, but no resin or hardener left. >.<

Several places sell cages especially made for crested geckos.

Its the second cage down.They are lightweight and stackable.

I have 8 of them for my cresteds and chahouas and I love them.

swtbrat did you have any problems with reptile depot? on faunas BOI there is alot of bad stuff about them. and thats where those crestie cages are. can i get them anywhere else?

Nope I never had a problem with Reptile Depot and I dealt with them for years.
Shipping on cages is 9.95 whether you buy 1 or 10.

Let me add that I ordered 4 cages at one time and one of the cages had a cracked pexiglass for the side of cage and I called them and had the replacement in a week.
I never waited for more than a week for my orders.

Also I don't think I have ever seen those cages for sale elsewhere.

I never ordered anything live so I can't comment on that.

I've been looking at the Zilla Fresh Air Acrylic Atrium. It's about $20 dollors cheaper than the Reptile Depot cage depending on where you buy it and should be suitable for some Cresteds.

out of those two can someone who knows about cresteds tell me what one of those would work better for them? it looks like they both have screen tops to me. and the zilla looks like it has a screen area under the door. the reptile depot one looks like the door is screen. would one work better than the other or should i just decide what one would fit better on my shelf?

I almost went for the one that Puff mentioned because it is cheaper but it also is only 12" wide and I think that it might not be wide enough for an adult.
Just my opinion which means nothing. :rasp
