Hello from a proud owner of baby Argentine B&W Tegu!

Hi everyone I've been researching tegus on here for a good while and finally decided to register. About an hour ago my baby tegu arrived in the mail and I've been full of joy since! He looks like he just hatched out the egg he's so tiny! I also have a Savannah Monitor and have had various other reptiles in my care too. I love reps and am so excited to have the most intellectual of reptiles in my family! Here's a vid of him about an hour out of the box after he ate two 0 day pinkies!

Thanks everyone! I'm going to take a new vid of him in a couple weeks. It will probably be of him eating some things, and a size comparison. Speaking of eating, he ate another pinky mouse today. We also had some out of the tank time. After exploring around my body and the couch to make sure he's safe he decided to lay in between my arm and the couch armrest to fall asleep for an hour. If you haven't noticed yet he's definitely a male. I asked the place I got it from to give me a male, I can even see little jowls coming in on him
