my name is jerry SR. i am jer723's dad,and also love reptiles.got my first 1 at 10 yrs old,a painter turtle.graduated to snakes at 16.had an 8 ft boa and a 12 foot burmese python.the last 1 i had was my enormous iguana,nearly 6 ft with his tail.42 now and enjoying seeing my son so interested.just wanted to introduce myself and thank everyone for the warm reception my son has received on this board,and also some great advice.

Welcome aboard! That's awesome that you two both can share reptiles as a hobby together. Both my son and daughter (4 and 1) LOVE my snakes and other critters too. It's a great hobby to share with kids!
