Handling wait time

Hey guys!

My new enclosure is almost done. Tomorrow I go over to the wood workers to make sure it is like we discussed before it gets finished and sealed. Hopefully in 1-2 weeks it'll be done and aired out and ready for Smaug to go into it.

My question is, how long do I need to give Smaug before he is ready to hang out, take naps on the couch, and just chill with us? Do i need to wait a week or so? While I am waiting this time can I feed him as usual and on the table with bath time or do I need to feed him in the enclosure as he settles. I have never fed him in the enclosure and don't want to start. Even when I first got him and he was settling in, I never fed him in there.

He's a 22" 3 month old B&W Argentine. He outgrew his temporary enclosure (40 gallon breeder) way to quick haha

Thanks,
Robert
