Eh more so so you can buy in Bulk and store them. It’s a commercial industry after all. Rodent pro is a pretty large and profitable company. I freeze mine when they reach the correct size because they grow so fast. Otherwise you couldn’t keep up.
Ok .I'm a country boy homesteader .I've been shooting squirrels skinning removing the digestive track ' leaving the heart and liver' grinding them up and deep freezing in portion sizes . I do the same with fish
