I'm assuming that this taxonomy refers to the cocodile tegu. I've wondered abou these critters for years. There are few if any pics on the internet, just mention here and there. Years ago there was a guy on KS who posted a pic of a specimen in a large tank. It was pretty impressive. He was very cryptic about who's it was and where it came from, just wanted to gloat that he'd had/seen a lizard that most hadn't even heard of. Anyone know anything about them? They kind of remind me of the caiman lizards, just a bit more drab and even more seldom seen.

Are you talking about Crocodile Lizard Shinisaurus crocodilurus? Or Dracaena guianensis? There are a bunch of the Shinisaurus on the market, and a little bit of info on them on some of the UK fourms.
