Chameleon eating tree??

I recently bought my 6mo old female veiled chameleon a new small hibiscus tree that hasn't bloomed yet, and she is eating away at all the leaves! She doesn't want to fruit I try to give her but she acts like she loves this tree she eats a good bit throughout the day been a few days now this has been going on.

Is this normal???
