Aggression

I've had my two Savannah's together for a while now. And it seems the male has gotten more aggressive towards the female. He used to just jump on top and nudge a lot, then get bored and go back to basking. But now he bites and throws her around, And he doesn't really stop. He just keeps doing it every time he sees her. Is there anyway i can solve this that doesn't involve me building another enclosure?

Savannah monitors are solitary animals. They only time they really have social interactions with one another is during courting/breeding, which is a fairly aggressive process....

why would you want to risk it? you are running the risk of coming home to a dead monitor...are you 100% sure you have a m/f and not a m/m pair it could very well be a territorial thing.
