    Wow thanks for all the responses. There was no heat on him during hibernation. He was in a tote with three inches of damp mulch. He always had water available to him while in the tote.     Ok I bought a tegu from Bobby RoyxSky. I "let" him go into hibernation. He started around the first of September. After trying to get him out of hibernation ,without success, I took him to the vet. Blender was very dehydrated. So I started soaking him 2-3 times a day per the vet. Two weeks...

    WAKE UP...Update SHE IS UP!

    Re: WAKE UP Blender is still not waking up. I am in so cal and you would think he would be up. But we had frost on the ground on yesterday and it was 80 today. Tad confusing? When I checked on him yesterday he was laying on his back. I thought he was a gonner. Seems to be ok now.

    New Tegu Adopted

    I hung out with him today. I took my laptop into the bathroom and laid down. He wandered around for a while then pushed in between me and the wall and went to sleep. The previous owner named him some weird name that I cant pronounce so I think I will name him Mumbo Jumbo.
