I heard that the breeder from Tegutopia was given a couple chacoan eggs or babies from Johnny Larocca (teguterra). I bought mine from Teguterra and he was born August, 2012 as well. Could be siblings!! :D
Did you buy from teguterra? If you did, good choice! I got one of his Chacoan hatchlings. Named him Lu Bu and he is amazing already. Johnny has some very /nice chacoans. Take some pics as soon as you get your tegu!
I just remembered that my girlfriend asked Johnny (Teguterra) to get me a male chacoan for me for Christmas :p. However, she just recently told me that he wasn't 100% sure if my tegu was a male or not, but he was pretty sure. He's about 6 months old now so I'm pretty sure I would be able to feel...

What are your tegu's lighting schedules? I emailed Johnny LaRocca from Teguterra and he usually does 8 hours on, 16 hours off (8am-12pm on, 12-4pm off, 4-8pm on...). Thoughts?
