another damn vet bill, with great relief and expectations

She allows me to spoon feed her soft food without hesitation... She is a little reluctant to take water from a baby syringe but she does.... Still no movement from her hide, unless I pull her out to feed or bath. I have the aluminum ordered for the basin and hood of the enclosure, a fabricator...

Thank you for that, rawsome, those were my immediate concerns as well. However after my vet bounced her info and x rays off a zoologist she deals with they said it was more likely the size of the eggs pressing against nerves. I hope they are right.... I continue to hand feed her and give her...

Yes, tannoros, this has become an impolite, pudding contest, thank you for your astute observation... So, now that this thread has been hijacked in a different direction, can we get back to the reason for posting? I have q pregnant female, now some thirty days, it has been explanied to expect...

another damn vet bill, with great relief and expectations

Again.... Rawsome, your opinion comes off rude... Ask me straight out next time.... Di you actually believe I would allow her to fall.... I put $40 into straps to keep the lid down. The day she last fell, she broke a pane of tempered glass to do so. If you don't think u tend to my animals, then...

another damn vet bill, with great relief and expectations

Snakecharm, I definitely agree, whole prey is better.... And the "enriched" turkey diet I feed is exactly that... Ground, fatty turkey, cod liver oil, bananas, apples and calcium.... Then I oscillate with another batch that has ground beef liver with no fruit. Yes, bobby's basic diet did not...

another damn vet bill, with great relief and expectations

Rawome... I would appreciate you ask more questions before you give your opinion. She can't move bc she is carrying more eggs than a typical first clutch, probably bc she is already 4&1/2 years old, I waited to breed her until I found a male with the same traits that didn't come from the same...

another damn vet bill, with great relief and expectations

Thanks for being helpful and encouraging, Laura.... The larger enclosure is for there future cohabitation and growth... And so I have the current tanks to house the babies until they find good homes. And I have only been feeding her enriched turkey, chicken wing tips, and pedialyte with water in...

What to expect, when we're expexting?

Ok, so the good news today is that my red and blue hybrids are going to be parents. So what now... ****, I have so much to do... I am still building a huge terrarium for cohabitation and growth, I have to finish my wine cooler incubator. And I still have a lot of questions, my vet can't answer...

another damn vet bill, with great relief and expectations

So about five weeks ago, my female DRAZIL began her recovery from the longest shed retention ever... It was a miracle... After almost a year and a half, the dead skin simply started to fall off. Her bright vibrant pattern was back. In that same week, my male NOGARD made every possible attempt to...

    New blue & red cross

Both of mine are red x blue crosses, with high contrast white. My male shows a lot of red, but my female only has little red speckles and belly shading that didn't show until about a year and a half. Keep in mind varnyard breeds an "all American" that shows lavendar tinge images of blue

    longest shed retention ever...

It has been about a year and a half since my b/r/b&w hybrid, DRAZIL, showed signs if shed retention. I have gone through it all... With some great help from bobby and others, and great advice, I was determined to get through it. I just had no idea it would go on so long. Finally, this week she...
