Hi! I just read about this on multiple sites a few days ago and apparently it’s called “guberty!” It’s like tegu puberty and unfortunately it can last a few months! It happens a lot from what I have read and it is just a passing phase don’t worry!
Hi so my adult female tegu seems to have figured out she can move things with her claws and has been following me occasionally and clawing me? What does this mean?
I GOT HER OUT!!! Turns out she had lifted up the air conditioner so much that she could not get out and had wedged herself and was stuck!!! I figured this out after an hour of being face down on the cement and dirt trying to get her out . I got my dad to lift it up and I pulled her out!!! Lots...
I would but the whole thing is surrounded by heavy bushes and there are other tiny lizards and other animals that live out there too :( do you have any recommendations as to what trap?
Help so we couldn’t find my tegu for a while in my backyard and we found she burrowed under the air conditioner!!! I’m really worried becauseI don’t know how to get her out!!!
So we took my tegu Sugar (Argentine black and white) outside, and she won’t come in now. As in whenever we get close to her she runs away super fast or lashes at us trying to bite us. We gave her a small rat and she ate it but still is being very aggressive so I was wondering what should we do...
