Really check out the ingredients. If they are packed in salt water, the eggs may absorb it through the porous shell and membrane.

It should be fine but like Laurarfl said they can absorb stuff from the water. If its just salt limit how many you offer and spread it out. Moderation is key. If there are other ingratiating I would avoid it.

If the place has those they generally have fresh quail eggs in the produce section. Or if you ask , they will see about getting them in for you

Citric acid is Vit C. The other is a chemical that can be bought OTC to "sterilize" water or for people who make their own wine. It is just a common preservative that inhibits bacteria growth.

Maybe soak the eggs in a large bucket of water to get some of the salt out. I know some people do it with olives.
