Do grow lights have any bad or good effects on tegus? or none at all?

Plants might hold up in a juvies enclosure but as it gets older I wouldn't count on them lasting too long. My tegus are always trying to flip things and dig under things, it would be too much time and effort, IMO, to deal with plants. If by grow lights you mean UVB, tegus should be under UVB lights anyway.

I use hanging pothos plants in tonka and chevy's enlcosure. I hang hooks from the ceilings anything I have attempted on the ground gets smooshed.
