Texas Brown???

Here's a pic of my tarantula, which I beleive is a Texas Brown. I may be wrong, which I have been b4 lol

I just brought her home 2 weeks ago and was told she is a year old. I've named her Charolette. But this spider won't die at the endof the story hehehe. If you can notice the little whitish spots everywhere on her, it's not dust, it's water mist. She's very calm, inquisitive and yes she has a nice colour to her. I like how the camera captured the red in her brown hair :)

really looks like a grammostola rosea/porteri to me. not really aphonopelma-ish to me at all. nice T though, regardless of species=)

You think so? I'll post some more pics tomorrow and maybe you can verify youridentification of the creature for me. I really want to tell people the right info. I googled grammostola rosea and honestly, I could agree with you. I don't know spiders well so...

i'm not an expert or anything but i do have 30 Ts and 3 are G rosea so i'm not talking completely out of my @$$=)

Here's another pick. I have to get ahold of my buddies camera again. I love that thing, SLR cams take the best pics lol Guess that's why all true photographers use em. Too bad a cam runs 500 and up while lens exceed 800. But the quality is unreal. Here's one more look at Charolette.

yeah, i'm gonna stick with grammostola rosea/porteri. i'm not sure if they changed the normal rosie to porteri or not but i read it somewhere.
