ReptiSun 10.0

I got some 48" ReptiSun 10.0 bulbs a while back and was wandering if they really lasted the year that it says that they do. I have read that uvb bulbs need to be replaced every 6 months, but it says on the petmountain.com that they last up to a year.

Mine are on a 12 hour on/off cycle. I also signed up on the Zoo Med site so they send an email when the bulbs need replacing...So should I worry about replacing when I get the email (which will be a year after I signed up), or should I do it soon since Ive had them for almost 6 months?

yup change them out at 6 months call zoo-med with your receipt (warrantied for 12months) they will send you new ones with the remaining 6month warranty on the new bulbs

I dont have the receipt anymore, maybe I'll save the next ones lol.
