question about trimmin a tegus nails

i was looking at the tegus nails that i am going to be getting. his nails are very long. how much of the nail do i take off? i could not seem to see the quick. what does it look like on a tegu?

i just take off the tip unless you got a curled nail then you gotta go for more. i realize i didn't help much but i do think there might be a thread on this exact subject.

i saw one thread on it. but it didnt really adress what i was asking. i was curious if most people just do the tip or if they actually go to the quick. but i got my answer. i can just do the tip of them.
