Newbie to forum and tegu ownership

Hello everyone,
My name is Eric and I am new to the tegu world. I was doing some research on different lizards a little over a year ago when I found out about the existence of the Argentine black and white tegu and fell in love. I ended up convincing the wifeI would do everything in my power to raise and care for one properly. I ordered my baby Athena as a hatchling from underground reptiles on July 2nd. I am glad to find a great group with so much helpful information.

I received her through the mail on July3rd. She has almost doubled in size already. She is doing great other than beating the crap out of me with her tail and trying to bite
