Hey guys, I just got a baby red from Laura Roberts on the 26th. I got to say, he is healthy looking & plump. He's still a bit skittish but he's moving all around his new home. But I have one problem with him.. He won't eat from the tongs, he runs when I use them actually. & I know it's not a good thing to hand feed them but that's the only way he will eat & he hasn't tried biting my fingers yet even when it smells like food.

Nice tegu. Hand feeding isnt a big deal, even when my hands are covered in fish scent she knows enough that they arent food. Just make sure to watch your tegu and be careful when feeding.
