Picked up this little guy Sunday! He is awesome all I want to do is hold him but I'm trying my best to be patient... Haha. I've had boas and all other sorts of reptiles but this is my first tegu! so any tips on taming him would be very much appreciated!

Best advice for taming is to sspend time with him. Hold him some every day. Get a pillow case and let him curl up in it at night and set it on you and pet him some. He will eventually get comfortable with you. Develop a routine schedule. Schedules seem to reduce stress on them
