male and female differences (ball python)

hey guys and gals can yall give me a little bit of info between the male and female differences on the ball python it really does matter on a specific detail.

Females get larger and generally cost more than males (of same genetics). Males can be breed younger than females can. Males i think max around 2 1/2 to 3ft and females 3 -4 1/2 ft.

do females have bigger heads than males? cause mine is a male and he has a small head and a longer neck than other ball pythons i see?

While individual specimen may have differing characteristics... I have never heard of solid reports of head size to indicate gender...

Female's tails tend to be shorter and taper off more quickly than males....

Though the only trustworth way to sex a snake is probing or popping. Either of these processes is an inspection of the animals sex organs. When done properly it is completely harmless to the animal, but if performed improperly can cause great damage. So this is best to be left to the experienced...

^^ Just like Toby says. Never really been much research around the head size as far as i read when it come's to sexing.

I learned to pop snakes at my internship under the watch of a trained profession, i watched and listened dozens of times over before i actually attempted to do so. I wouldn't look at a few youtube vids and then try, so much details are left out.
