Here are a couple posts with pictures of columbian and argentine tegus.
As for the differences, columbians (usually) only have 1 loreal scale while argentines (usually) have 2 loreal scales. Also I think columbians' scales are smoother whereas argentines are more raised/beaded. Hope this helps.
Columbians also don't get as big and tend to be a bit more on the wild side(this probably has something to do with fact that all columbians are imports).
