hello to all tegus and their owners. I am new to the tegu scene (just got my argentine black and white at the reptile expo in San Diego last saturday) and am both EXTREMELY nervous and excited. Will probably post on eating and behavioral habits. and thanks to any and all who give me advice in the future. :D

Glad you're here. Good info and members here.

How big/old is your tegu? Post a pic of him/her if you can.

i dont really know his age ( but he does have some green and yellow on his body).he looks a little over a foot. maybe 18 or so inches. he seems healthy. im a little afraid of overfeeding him though. and he doesnt seem to be a fan of crickets. scrambled Eggs, ground turkey, strawberries and blueberries he will eat though.

This is the stage of life where most growth takes place You will want to keep him well fed. By the age of 1, he shouldne around 3', smaller if a female.
