Got Plugs??

I fed our big Red Tegu a small rat last night and gave him a bath (he's shedding). Afterwards, as usual, he defecated, extending his hemipens (man he's well hung!!). I got 2 sperm plugs! He's ready to go!

I'd like to try to breed our Blue Tegu's but the female doesn't like the male. The Blues aren't out of semi-hibernation yet. I've read they breed later. Maybe she'll breed with the Red?? Gotta wait for her to fully wake up. I don't know if she was ever hibernated so it may not work. I guess I'll have to wait and see.

They met before they went down. And once during when they woke up for a couple of days. She was up for a couple of hours tonight. I didn't see him.
