Do Tegus Breathe Like Monitors

I know most lizards cannot breathe while moving. However, I recall that monitors are different in that they can use their throat pouch to push air in and out. Is this the same with Tegus? I know they're not related but look similar due to convergent evolution. Anyway, just curious.
