so i have been thinking on buying a colombian tegu but the cage i have right now is to small (i think) it is a 4'by2'by3' how long could a hatchling last in this sized tank or could the tank be permanent i have a mecury vapor bulb that gets the basking spot about 110 and a 10.0 uvb bulb the substrate is a mix of sand, eco earth, and repti bark it is about 5 inches deep is there any thing else that i need? And what are some tips on taming.

Hello Noah and welcome aboard!
4x2x3 will get you through the first 6 months - maybe. You're going to need a lot more space than that - and fairly quickly...
