Aspen for substrate?

Is aspen ok (for temporary use bout 1 week) I've run out of cypress mulch and all I can find is aspen, aspen and more aspen

I switched from cypress mulch to aspen. I deff like aspen much better. I have no problems with humidity or mold and they both seem to like this more.

It will work fine, I do have issues with humidity using it but it seems that may depend on a few variables.
