tube lights arent needed if you are getting a bulb with UVB and UVA, also depending on how large your cage is...in my cage in my 4x2 and 8x4 I use powersuns as well as reptisun tube lights simply because i want the cool side to have uvb too...but depending on your cage demensions you wont need a tube light.
I have a 6x3x3 and run fluorescents and a mecury vapor bulb. I like it but you can run the risk of exposing your reptile to too much UVB. Which is just as bad as too little. I do it because I have a solar meter and can properly determine my UVB levels. If I didn't have one I would just use a MV bulb without the fluorescents.
Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet y'all :!: Thanks for the advise, I think I'm just gonna get a mega ray for now. Maybe a small tube just to light up the cage a little :-D
